Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines what you may not do with EQVPS services. It is part of our Terms of Service. Violating this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund, and where appropriate, reporting to relevant authorities. We may update this AUP at any time.
EQVPS does not require identity verification (no KYC). That trust depends on customers using the Service responsibly. The following is strictly prohibited.
1. Illegal content and activity
- Any content or activity that is illegal under applicable law.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualizes minors — zero tolerance, immediate termination and reporting.
- Content or services that facilitate human trafficking, terrorism, or violence.
- Distribution of stolen data, credentials, or other unlawfully obtained material.
2. Security abuse and attacks
- Launching or participating in denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks.
- Unauthorized access attempts, port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or penetration testing against systems you do not own or lack written authorization to test.
- Hosting, distributing, or controlling malware, ransomware, botnets, exploit kits, or command-and-control infrastructure.
- Operating phishing pages or credential-harvesting sites.
3. Spam and messaging abuse
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or operating open mail relays.
- Outbound mail ports (25/465) are restricted by default. Use a reputable SMTP relay for legitimate transactional email.
- SMS spam, abusive automated messaging, or evading platform rate limits.
4. Fraud and deception
- Fraud, scams, fake stores, pump-and-dump schemes, or any deceptive financial activity.
- Phishing, impersonation, or misrepresenting your identity to deceive others.
- Using the Service to launder proceeds of crime or facilitate sanctions evasion.
5. Intellectual property
- Hosting or distributing material that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- Pirated software, media, or license-key generators.
6. Resource abuse
- Cryptocurrency mining is not permitted on shared NAT plans, as it degrades shared resources for other users.
- Any activity that disproportionately consumes shared CPU, disk I/O, or network capacity and harms other customers.
- Attempting to circumvent resource limits, isolation, or billing.
7. Network integrity
- Spoofing IP addresses or network traffic.
- Operating open proxies or relays used to facilitate abuse.
- Any activity that jeopardizes the stability, security, or reputation of the network or its IP space.
8. Enforcement
We investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate affected services, with or without prior notice depending on severity. Severe violations (such as CSAM, active attacks, or activity creating legal risk) result in immediate termination. Charges already incurred are non-refundable.
9. Reporting abuse
To report a violation of this AUP, contact [email protected] with relevant details (IP address, timestamps, logs). We review reports promptly.
