Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information EQVPS collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. EQVPS is built to collect as little personal data as possible. We do not perform identity verification (no KYC) and we do not collect government ID, and we do not store payment card details.
1. Information we collect
Account information
- For human accounts: your email address, used to send one-time login codes and important service notices. No password is stored (login is passwordless).
- For agent / API accounts: an account identifier and an authentication token. No email is required for purely programmatic accounts.
Payment information
- Cryptocurrency payments settle on-chain through a self-hosted, non-custodial gateway. We process transaction references and amounts to credit your balance. We do not receive or store bank card numbers or banking identity.
Service and technical data
- Basic account and billing records (balance, orders, invoices).
- Server metadata needed to operate your VPS (plan, status, hostname, resource metrics).
- Logs and IP addresses associated with access to the website, panel, and API, used for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
Website analytics
- We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the website (page views, navigation, and — for Clarity — aggregated session/heatmap data) so we can improve it. These tools may set cookies and collect usage and device information. See Section 4 (Cookies) and Section 5 (Third parties).
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- To process payments and manage your balance and orders.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and service changes.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- To analyze and improve the website and Service.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Legal basis and retention
We process data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service. We retain data only as long as needed for these purposes or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality (such as keeping you signed in) and for analytics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
5. Third-party services
We share limited information with service providers strictly to operate the Service:
- Analytics: Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity) — website usage data.
- Email delivery: a third-party email relay used to send login codes and notices.
- Payment gateway: a self-hosted, non-custodial crypto payment component.
- Infrastructure: data-center and network providers that host our systems.
These providers process data on our behalf and/or under their own policies. We do not authorize them to use your data for unrelated purposes.
6. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you are responsible for securing your own VPS and credentials.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
8. International data
Our infrastructure and providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
